“Rapunzel, Rapunzel! Let down your hair!”
Was a scream that jolted Rapunzel awake.
A dream she dreamt of leaving her house,
But destiny had plans for when she steps out.

“Rapunzel, Rapunzel! Don’t you wish to be free?”
Was a question that haunted Rapunzel’s destiny.
Her eyes on the prize, and her sight on the door.
Little did she know the changes in her goal.

“Rapunzel, Rapunzel! Let daydreams cast to life!”
Was a shout that invigorated Rapunzel’s nights.
What once a wish to leave her home,
Evolved a passion to explore and roam

“Rapunzel, Rapunzel! Have you seen the stars?”
Was a voice that tickled Rapunzel ajar.
Doors opened wider and paths paved farther,
A fantasy created became a future shone brighter.

“Rapunzel, Rapunzel! How far have you come!”
Was a cheer that calmed Rapunzel’s soul.
Insurmountable dreams surrounded her stead,
All beginning from a longing granted.
