A simple smile, a silent nod, a tiny wave was all that was left

written last 2019.

I never said hello
And you never said goodbye
Yet the thought of you leaving
Still makes my heart cry

The only memories I have
Where those in the hallways
A simple smile, a silent nod
A tiny wave was all that was left

Your jolly smile, your sarcastic remarks
Your kind advises and your wise words
Tattooed to our hearts and our minds
You left us too soon, too early

And when our world seemed to stop
While everything else revolves
We’ll remember the memories
The last words, the last moments

To the person everyone inspired.
To the brother in Christ who always smiled.
To the man who changed lives.
Thank you for everything, our dearest silhouette.
